(More customer reviews)This is the first time I've bought 300 tpi 100% Egytpian Cotton sheets. The feel is fabulously average. My last set of sheets were 400 tpi & much smoother & softer. Oh well. They probably won't last more than a couple of years anyway. Here's my big beef.

The product description said "These work great on wood frame waterbeds". I have a 1970's wooden, homemade waterbed with padded sides. I selected this set because it said it was right for this kind of bed. Well it's not. Wood frame, padded sided waterbeds cannot have overhang on the sheets & blankets. The top sheet had to be cut off to fit my bed. So did the last set I got from JCP but they didn't claim the proper fit. Next time I'll read the dimensions. Speaking of dimensions, the pillow cases are the narrowest I've ever seen.

I also don't believe they are $150 sheets marked down but that's marketing at work.

For these reasons, I give these striped sheets 3 stars.
